Intro to
Black & White
Photography
w/ Bob Viens
REGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS IS FULL

Wednesdays 6-8pm             **starting October 10
Students will start by learning to operate the manual controls of a 35mm camera. By the end of their first class, they will be ready to start taking pictures. From there they will learn the elements of a good photograph and how to develop and print their images in the darkroom. By session's end, students will be proficient with darkroom techniques. There will also be open darkroom times and students will be encouraged to attend.

Beyond Basic
Black & White
w/ Tim Callahan

Mondays 6-8pm                  **starting October 15
Intro to B&W Photography is a prerequisite for this class.
This class for intermediate to advanced photo students offers students the opportunity to continue improving their photography and darkroom skills while also expanding their horizons to include medium format cameras, night photography and more advanced techniques.

Intro to
Digital Photography
w/ Eric Maxen

Thursdays 4-6pm               **starting October 11

Great for students of all experience levels. Each class will cover a different aspect of photography from composition to light to subject matter and students will shoot, download and review images daily. Eric's work can be seen at www.ericmaxen.com.

Advanced & Alternative
w/ Sarah Lavigne

Wednesdays 4-6pm                **starting October 10
Designed for intermediate and advanced students who have taken other In-Sight classes and are interested in furthering their knowledge of advanced techniques for creating photographic images. The class will also touch on alternative techniques and students will have an opportunity to work on a few long projects
of their choice. Additionally, participants will view the work of many prominent photographers. See some of Sarah's work at www.lavignephoto.com.

Digital Photography, Photoshop & Webpage Building
w/ Joey Morgan
Sundays Noon-4pm              **start date October 21
Students will learn how manipulate digital images in Photoshop, the most powerful imaging software available. They will then learn to construct basic web pages using Dreamweaver so they can share their digital work through their own pages on In-Sight's website. Taught by Joey Morgan. Joey's work can be seen at  www.lostbuttons.comand www.dreamlab.org. This class will run on 4 consecutive Sundays and there will be two optional weekday labs scheduled that Joey will attend.
