Intro to Black & White Photography |
Tuesdays 4-6pm **Class starts February 20 w/ Sarah Riley & Chris Zinn Thursdays 6-8pm **Class starts February 22 w/ Genevieve Gaignard Students will start by learning to operate the manual controls of a 35mm camera. By the end of their first class, they will be ready to start taking pictures. From there they will learn the elements of a good photograph and how to develop and print their images in the darkroom. By session's end, students will be proficient with darkroom techniques. |
Beyond Basic Photography w/ Tim Callahan |
Mondays 6-8pm **Class starts February 12 Intro to B&W Photography is a prerequisite for this class. This class for intermediate to advanced photo students offers students the opportunity to continue improving their photography and darkroom skills while also expanding their horizons to include medium format cameras, night photography and more advanced techniques. |
Community Storytelling w/ Eric Maxen |
Mondays 4-6pm **Class starts March 5 A digital class designed to teach students to take meaningful portraits and create images that convey emotion and say something about the community they live in. By session's end, each student will have a completed photo essay, a portion of which will appear in the Brattleboro Reformer. Some basic scanning and Photoshop, too. Digital Photography, Photoshop & Webpage Building w/ Joey Morgan |
Tuesdays 6-8pm **Class starts March 6 Students will learn how to capture digital images and manipulate them in Photoshop, the most powerful imaging software available. They will then learn to construct basic web pages so they can share their digital work through their own pages on In-Sight's website. Taught by Joey Morgan. Joey's work can be seen at www.lostbuttons.com and www.dreamlab.org. |
Advanced & Alternative w/ Sarah Lavigne |
Thursdays 4-6pm **Class starts Feb. 1 Designed for advanced students who have taken other In-Sight classes and are interested in furthering their knowledge of advanced and alternative techniques in creating photographic images. |
