Meet The Board of Directors
Sam Angell, a partner at the law firm of
Fitts, Olson & Giddings, P.L.C. In Brattleboro, has been a
board member since 1998 and is currently Vice-President. His
interest in photography began at Putney School, where he took
classes taught by the late Ed Shore. Sam lives with his wife,
Amy, and two children in Townshend.
Bahman Mahdavi has been designing and building
commercial, non-profit and community websites since 1996.
He lives in Newfane, with his wife & 3 children.
Phayvanh
Luekhamhan was one of In-Sight’s first students. She likes
to write, teach, take photos, and dance.
Bob George has been taking photos for 30
years and lives in Brattleboro.
Lynne Weinstein is a fine arts photographer
living in Putney, VT. Before moving to Vermont, she worked
for many years as a photo researcher and editor at Life Magazine
in New York. Her work has been published in magazines such
as Parenting, Orion, Yankee and others.
Scott Browning is the co-founder and director
of The Hall Farm Center for Arts & Education, a non-profit
organization offering artist residencies and arts education
programs for teachers and students. He is a graduate of Sarah
Lawrence College and received a masters degree in teaching
from The New School for Social Research. He has taught in
public schools in Maine and New York.
John Willis received his MFA in photography
from the Rhode Island School of Design. He is the photography
Professor at Marlboro College and cofounder of In-Sight. His
work is in numerous public and private collections including
the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Museum of Fine Arts
and The Whitney Museum of American Art.
Scott Mathes is a graduate of the Rhode
Island School of Design with extensive experience in printmaking
and photography. He worked for years as the main printer at
Renaissance Press in Hinsdale NH printing limited edition
prints of famous artist’s works in nineteenth and twentieth
century processes. Currently he is building timber frame houses.
Donna McElligott is a marketing consultant
who has lived in the Brattleboro area since 1989. Her background
includes working with Marlboro College and World Learning,
among other institutions in the fields of education, intercultural
learning, the arts, and healthcare.
Christine Triebert is a fine art photographer
who is best known for her landscape images. She exhibits her
work regularly in shows around New England. Chris had a long
career as a graphic designer before pursuing photography on
a full-time basis.
Rod Gander worked at Newsweek magazine
for 26 years. In 1981, he became president of Marlboro College
and retired in 1995. He now lives in Brattleboro with his
wife Isabelle.
Margaret Everitt of Dummerston is a classically
trained pianist and a composer of original lyrics and scores
for musical theater. She is associated with the Roundabout
