| Renovations are complete on In-Sight’s
new space at 45 Flat Street, next door to the Vermont Center
for Photography (formerly Flat Street Photography Gallery).
The program starts up in the new, 1,000 square foot space
this September. The new facility has its’ own gallery
to show a variety of student and mentor photography; a classroom
double the size of the previous space; a separate film processing
room with its own ventilation; and a larger darkroom with
newly acquired equipment and 8 enlarger stations. All this
extra space will allow for larger classes and extra room for
learning and experimenting with photography !!! Please stop
by to check out the new space.
An additional benefit of our new location will be the creation
of a neighborly collaboration between In-Sight and Vermont
Center of Photography. The possibilities are very exciting
for creating connections between youth and adults through
a mutual interest in photography.
A big “thank you” to Windridge Builders, who
have done a fantastic job creating our new environment. Thanks
also to Dompier Electric, Huestis Plumbing & Heating,
and Brattleboro Roofing & Sheet Metal for their great
work on the new space. |
