STUDENT SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

The goal of our sponsorship program is to provide scholarship for students participating in our classes, and to encourage corporate citizenship in our community.

As we have moved to our new facility and create a long-term plan for In-Sight's continued success, it has become necessary for us expand our budget and to integrate ourselves more fully with our community leaders. Your support of this program will help ensure classes for every teenager.

In-Sight's mission is to provide quality photography classes to youth ages 11-18 of the greater Brattleboro area. Our classes provide a place opportunity for young adults to learn a valuable skill and communication tool. In our ten year history, we have served roughly 900 Windham County, VT adolescents. Presently, In-Sight offers five different classes and three darkroom labs for an average of 35 students. Though our program is targeted towards at-risk youth, it is open to all interested teens. Many of our students are referred to us through social services, counselors, and other community networks.

The program cost per student per session is $400. We request students pay $185 tuition per session to cover a class, but only about 25% of students pay some portion of the tuition. Because none of our students have been turned away for lack of funds, this means that the majority of the program cost is absorbed by In-Sight. Our budget has expanded greatly due to meet the needs of our students. This sponsorship program will help guarantee the program costs are covered.

As one of the first sponsors to participate in this program, you will receive:

• a subscription to our bi-annual newsletter
• a mention in the next In-Sight newsletter
• a mention of your support at community events such as gallery exhibits

You can choose to sponsor the work of one or more students currently in our program for one or more sessions per year (3 sessions/year).

Suggested Rates:
1 Sponsorship	$185	1 student for 1 class
2 Sponsorships	$350	2 students for 1 class -or- 1 student for 2 classes
3 Sponsorships	$500	3 students for 1 class -or- 1 student for 3 classes (year)

Scholarship commitments are due before each class session:
Summer Session by May 15th
Fall Session by September 15th
Winter Session by January 15th
