Intro to Black and White

with Tim Callahan

Mondays 6:00-8:00 February 8

Students will learn how to create eye-catching photographs, process film and make meaningful prints in the darkroom while developing a new way of seeing.

Exposures Cross-Cultural Youth Arts Program

with Sophia LaCava-Bohanan and Marlboro College students Marcus and Jon

Wednesday 4:00-6:00 beginning February 10.

Participants will examine culture, place, and identity while developing an online dialogue with participants from the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. The class will focus on using digital photography and multimedia projects to establish cross cultural communication.

Materials: In-Sight provides all materials for every class as needed including camera, film, paper, chemicals and more.


Please Note: All classes are offered on a sliding scale fee. No interested student will be turned away for lack of ability to pay

Structures and Spaces

with Adam Catanzarite

Mondays 4:00-6:00 Beginning February 8

This film and digital class will focus on architecture and design. Students will take in-class field trips to photograph local architectural features and spaces in town. Additionally, students will create their own structures using found materials and make photographs of their created structures.

Beyond the Face: Alternative Processes & Portraiture

with Deb Ayer

Thursdays 6:00-8:00 Beginning February 11

For students of all levels, this class will introduce participants to a variety of equipment and techniques such as pinhole cameras, cyanotypes, and color toning. Students will focus on exploring ways to create portraits and photograph people.

This is a One Week Intensive class offered during February school vacation week. Through the use of clay, paper, figures, and other materials participants will create digital short animations which they may choose to upload to  YouTube.
