Bidders will receive an e-mail an In-Sight representative to verify bids. At that time, we may ask for a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express card number to hold your bid. Your card will not be charged unless you have the winning bid.

Online, Telephone and Email Bidding Policy:

  1. 1.Bids may be made by telephone at 802-251-9960 or by email at bid@insight-photography.org. Online bids will close on Friday October 28, at 8:00pm Eastern Standard time.

  2. 2.Bids may not be accepted without verification. Verification may include holding your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express card number. Highest bidders will be notified within 5 days of the close of the auction.



CONDITIONS OF SALE

  1. 1.While every effort has been made to describe materials correctly, all photos are offered AS IS.
    The items are available for inspection during auction at The Vermont Center for Photography, 49 Flat St. Brattleboro, VT 05301.

  2. 2.All sales are final. No returns or refunds.

  3. 3.The In-Sight Photography Project and the Vermont Center for Photography assume NO responsibility for corrections of descriptions, genuineness, authenticity, or defects in any lot and makes no warranty in connection therewith.
    Images marked with (*) may have minor damage to borders and edges.
    Images marked with (**) may have dents or minor scratches to the surface of the image.
    Images marked with (***) may have creases or folds in the image or faded tones.

  4. 4.Conditions of sale may be waived, modified, or voided at the sole discretion of The In-Sight Photography Project and the Vermont Center for Photography.

  5. 5.All bidders must include their name, address, email address and phone number when bidding on any image in the auction.

  6. 6.Payment will be made in cash, travelers’ checks, personal or business checks approved with established credit and accompanied by two forms of identification and/or a VISA, MASTERCARD, or AMERICAN EXPRESS. Credit Card payments will be accepted through PAY PAL.

  7. 7.Absentee bids will be accepted via email and phone until Sunday, October 31st at 2:30pm Eastern Standard time. Bids accepted will be noted with time and date of receipt and in the case of conflicting bids, they will be executed on behalf of the individual leaving the first bid. Online and phone bidding is offered as a convenience and absentee bidders may NOT hold the auction responsible for any errors or failures in executing absentee bids. High bidders will be notified within 5 days of the sale, and upon receipt of payment the items may be picked up or mailed when all fees including shipping charges are paid.

  8. 8.The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. The In-Sight Photography Project and/or the Vermont Center for Photography have the right to reject any bid and to advance the bidding at his/her absolute discretion; and, in the event of any dispute between bidders, to determine the successful bidder. Should there be any dispute after the sale, The In-Sight Photography Project and/or the Vermont Center for Photography record shall be conclusive.

  9. 9.Images displayed with loose glass will not be shipped with glass.



All funds raised from this auction will directly benefit the programs of The In-Sight Photography Project. In-Sight’s mission is to provide a creative outlet through the visual art of photography for the youth of Windham County, Vermont regardless of their ability to pay suggested class fees and statewide Vermont flood relief efforts!
