Mondays 5-7 pm, beginning June 22
So what does that mean? It means this is an incentive class. Each student who enrolls in this class will be issued a manual 35mm film camera. Students who attend EVERY class and complete EVERY assignment will then be allowed to KEEP their camera…..FOREVER!!!!
This class, which is great for youth of all ages, will dive right into the basics and magic of traditional black and white film photography. Students will learn how to use manual 35mm cameras, process their own film, and print their own images in the darkroom. They will also learn how to see in a new way through the basic techniques of composition, shape, and light.
Participants are encouraged to attend open lab times when they may work closely with lab monitors to test new techniques introduced during class time and continue printing in the darkroom.
Open Labs: Tuesdays 5:00-8:00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 11:00-2:00 p.m.
